I'm So Glad you're Here

Hello dear friend, my name is Naadia.

I love reading a good book, dabbling with watercolour painting, trying my hand at simple needlepoint projects and spending time with friends exploring the deeper meanings of various bible passages. I’m a follower of Jesus so my posts will be biblically based.

However, it’s my hope that whatever beliefs you adhere to, you’ll be able to glean principles that will encourage you, help you draw closer to God, and give you hope and faith for the journey you’re on.

I’ve experienced many challenges along with great times in my life, and throughout everything I’m thankful for the goodness of God. I’m very grateful for the way He’s carried me through all of life’s encounters.

This blog won’t always have fluffy, fuzzy, or feel-good articles. In the end, it’s my hope that whatever you read here will:

help you know that it’s ok to feel the devastation, hurt, and pain when an unexpected crisis hits you straight-on. There’s nothing worse than well- intentioned people telling you not to feel the hurt, sadness, discouragement, mental anguish, and real pain and suffering of the setbacks of life;
provide the kind of hope that helps you overcome any obstacle life presents;
that you’ll discover a purpose greater than yourself, and pursue it with zeal;
that you’ll view yourself as someone bestowed with unique gifts and passions to serve God and others;
that you’ll seek a more in-depth knowledge of God, and a closer relationship with Him;
that you’ll know the depth, height and width of his great love for you;
and as a result, you’ll continue to have courage, determination, hope and “faith for the journey”.
